The National Assembly recommended MP Ahmed Al-Saadoun as Speaker of the Seventeenth Legislative Chapter. Representative Dawood Marafi announced his withdrawal from running for the presidential elections.
While Mohammad Barrak was elected deputy speaker of the National Assembly for the 17th term. MPs also eelcted Mubarak Al-Tasha as secretary of the National Assembly.
