Taking this opportunity, allow me to extend to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah, Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs His Excellency Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah our heartiest congratulations and warmest wishes on this auspicious occasions.
It is gracious anniversary period to be overwhelmingly celebrated in this country which is now peaceful, prosperous and successful and is taking a prominent leading role in the international arena as well under the leadership of His Highness Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In this connection, I would like to reiterate Myanmar’s support the State of Kuwait’s non-permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council. Myanmar is looking forward to further strengthening bilateral ties with the State of Kuwait for the mutual benefit of our two countries and its peoples.
