The Kuwait Municipality has retracted the decision to transfer the hygiene inspectors outside their governorates, and instead has issued an administrative decision to redistribute them in the same governorates.
A local Arabic daily said this came against the backdrop of a sit-in organized by the inspectors of the General Cleanliness Department in the Kuwait Municipality over the past two weeks in front of the Ministry of State for Municipal Affairs building.
According to the decision issued by the Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Eng Ahmed Al-Manfouhi, Administrative Decision No. 3131 of 2022 issued on September 5 is canceled and considered as if it was not issued.
