The Municipality aims to solve the traffic congestion crisis, and has revealed that car parks and smart parking is part of the solutions to solving the problem, Al Qabas daily reported. However, it is not the complete solution, which has to look into several matters, including, but not limited to, the development of the roads’ system in proportion to the population increase, and the use of electronic warning methods when traffic jams occur, the development of the mass transit system, and encouraging public transport for school students.
The daily said, quoting sources, that solving the traffic crisis requires cooperation from all sides, and the municipality does not fail to make any efforts to solve the traffic jam problem.
