Municipality identifies 34 sites for spring camps launching on November 15

The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality has launched its awareness campaign, titled “Clean Land”, which aims at preserving the land and using environmentally-friendly means to protect camping sites, as well as, maintaining their cleanliness while camping.

The department stated that the municipality has identified 34 campsites this year, starting from 15 November and ending on 15 March next year, across Jahra and Ahmadi with 18 sites in the northern region and 16 sites in the southern region. In addition, the spring camp sites include service centers and security points distributed in four cooperative society branches, in addition to three security points in Jahra, three cooperative society branches in Ahmadi and a security point distributed in Julai’a Road, Umm Safaq and Kabd.

Moreover, the Department installed 167 Mobi advertisements for its special media campaign, launched under the title “Halaat Al Barr is Clean” with the hashtag #Halaat Al Barr_Clean, to educate campers about maintaining the cleanliness of the sites. The 167 Mobi ads, according to the Arab daily report, were installed on all streets, roads and intersections of the governorates, while 42 ads were installed in the Capital Governorate, 25 in Ahmadi, 22 in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, 16 in Jahra, 23 in Farwaniya and 39 in Hawalli.
