Wednesday, the Kuwait Municipality announced that the concerned supervisory teams have removed 197 spring camps that violated the camping period in the mainland of the Jahra and the Ahmadi governorates, after the end of the camping season which ended on March 15.
The municipality said in a press release issued by its Public Relations Department that the teams removed 126 camps in Ahmadi and 71 Jahra and issued violation notices against their owners, reports a local Arabic daily.
At the same the Municipality has praised the cooperation of the camp owners who removed their camps immediately after the end of the camping season. However, the Municipality continues to call on those who have failed to meet the deadline to remove their camps to protect the environment
