MPW to hire 161 Kuwaitis to work at the Kuwait International Airport ‘T2’ 

Director of Planning Department at the Ministry of Public Works, Eng. Iman Al-Omar announced personal interviews will soon begin for the recruitment of Kuwaitis to work at the Kuwait International Airport ‘T2’, for 161 job opportunities (36 jobs titles) which is one of the largest strategic projects in the development plan of the state, in accordance with the decision to Kuwaitise national labor in contracts for projects affiliated with the ministry.

Al-Omar indicated after the announcement of employment in the airport project, there will be a series of job announcements in current and future contracts and agreements, to achieve the ambition of Kuwaiti youth, by providing job opportunities that make them a workforce that has a highly competitive ability to achieve Kuwait’s dreams.

She indicated the ministry is currently in the process of preparing a 53-article document to organize the work mechanism in the area of Kuwaitization in the new project contracts of the Minister of Public Works, pointing out that through the implementation of the Kuwaitization program within the ministry job opportunities will be created for national cadres in the current and future contracts and agreements as the nation marches forward towards a new Kuwait.

The Public Works Authority had announced the Kuwaitization program in contracts and agreements for the Ministry’s projects, which includes a selection of academics and specialists with the support of Minister Rana Al-Fares, and issued its executive regulations that organized the mechanism for implementing the decision to Kuwaitize national workers in the contracts and agreements of projects affiliated with the Ministry.
