The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) announced on Wednesday that the ministry has paved roads with asphalt at a total space of 126,192 square meters in nine locations nationwide, between January 27 and February 2nd.
The Ministry added in a statement that those areas were Ministrial Area, Rumaithiya, Sabahiya, Adan, Old Jahra, Rawdha, Hitteen, and the Gulf coastline, using 478 vehicles and asphalt pavers.
These works were carried out by the maintenance and engineering sector at the Ministry, and are in responding to citizens’ complaints of fixing some holes on roads, along with development and maintenance operations in some locations, it added.
The Ministry called on citizens and expatriates to cooperate with emergency and maintenance teams in conducting their round-the-clock tasks, urging them to reach out to the teams by the hotline (150), WhatsApp number (93333150), or through the Ministry’s application in smartphones.
