The Ministry of Public Works has completed a project to design, construct, complete and maintain pedestrian bridges in separate areas of Kuwait and public transport stops (the first group), with a completion rate of 100%.

The ministry indicated that the project aims to implement a number of pedestrian bridges in several separate areas in the various governorates, reports Al-Jarida daily.

The sources pointed out 11 pedestrian bridges have been completed, and the procedures for change orders are under way, adding a pedestrian bridge on the Fahd Al-Salem Street, as well as a pedestrian bridge to link the Ministry of Information complex building with the external car parks.

The sources explained these bridges include between Bayan and Mishref areas, Arabian Gulf Street and Al Shaab Al Bahri, between Salmiya and Maidan Hawalli, Khaldiya and Adailiya, Al Faiha and Keifan, Salwa and Anjafa Beach.
