On behalf of the Government of Mongolia, all my colleagues here at the Embassy and on my own name, I extend warm greetings and sincere felicitations to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah – Emir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah – the Crown Prince, the Government and the friendly people of Kuwait on these auspicious occasions of the 60th anniversary of the Independence and the 30th anniversary of the Liberation of the State of Kuwait.
I am happy to recall that Mongolia was one of the first country to denounce the Iraqi invasion back in 1990 and continuously supported Kuwait internationally on the subject. Since its liberation, Kuwait has emerged as a key foreign policy player in the region characterized by neutrality.
It is my great pleasure to note that the long-existing friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Kuwait have reached its 45th anniversary last year. The Mongolian Government and people deeply appreciate the remarkable assistance and support rendered by the Kuwaiti Government over the past years, which have continuously contributed to the socio-economic development of Mongolia. I am confident that such friendly relations and good cooperation will be further enhanced to new heights in further years to come.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to wish a good health, success and personal well being to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince, the Government as well as to offer progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Kuwait.
