The Ministry of Interior has warned against responding to unknown accounts and numbers, saying criminal gangs are actively calling using international or local numbers or through social networking sites and impersonate several fake characters and request data related to the ATM card or personal identity to commit fraud.
The Ministry has called for not responding to these numbers and reporting them immediately via “WhatsApp” to the Anti-Cybercrime Department on 97283939 and refrain from giving the bank account number or the password to anyone, and not to photograph the ATM card or the password and share it with people.
