MOI takes significant steps against reckless drivers

The Ministry of Interior has taken significant steps to address the issue of reckless driving and traffic violations. The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media has emphasized the importance of apprehending those who violate the traffic laws and regulations, ensuring that legal action is taken against them.

As a result of these efforts, the Traffic Court has issued prison sentences for 30 individuals involved in reckless and negligent driving, endangering the lives of others, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Additionally, other penalties such as fines and temporary suspension of driving licenses have been imposed on offenders as per the provisions in the Penal Code. All of these measures aim to deter potential violators and maintain road safety.

The administration is committed to conducting ongoing security and traffic campaigns throughout the country to effectively control and deter traffic law violators.

The General Traffic Department urges all drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules and laws. Furthermore, the public is encouraged to cooperate with the security personnel by promptly reporting any negative incidents or violations they witness to the emergency phone (112) or WhatsApp Traffic (99324092). This collective effort is crucial for ensuring the safety of all road users.
