The Ministry of Interior (MoI) is prepared for the possibility of a partial curfew in the country if the decision is issued by the competent authorities, Al Rai daily reported, quoting a source,
The source told the daily that MoI has been working at full capacity and its security strength, and all its employees are fully prepared if a curfew is announced. The source indicated that the Ministry of Interior, in coordination with the Operations Department, will coordinate between it and the concerned authorities to exit during the partial ban and grant permits “barcode” to workers in the front lines to allow them to travel to perform their duties.
The source indicated that the traffic, rescue, public security, criminal investigation and special forces will take over the process of stationing in areas, highways and in vital places to ensure that no citizen or expat will leave during the curfew, and this curfew will be tightened, and whoever violates or breaks the curfew, legal measures will be taken against them.
