The General Department of Information Systems at the Ministry of Interior announced 4.5 million transactions were complete through the online service since the date of the launch of the service in March 2020, including on the Mata platform, such as renewal of passports for Kuwaitis and residence permit renewal for expatriates.
The administration stated the online service comes within the efforts made by the security establishment to develop its service sectors, with the aim of facilitating and simplifying procedures and saving time and effort, noting that it continues to receive visitors wishing to terminate their services online via the Ministry of Interior website www.moi.gov.kw
