Security sources said that the Ministry of Interior (MOI) allowed the transfer of domestic workers and those of similar status to the profession of the driver, regardless of whether there is a driver’s license issued in his home country or not, Al-Qabas reported.
The sources said that the Director-General of Residency Affairs, Brigadier General Hamad Al-Tawalah, issued a circular today, Sunday, stipulating that they be given the authority to approve and sign the transfer of domestic workers to the profession of a driver, provided that there is a valid residence for two years connected of the domestic worker on the same sponsor.
