Health Minister Dr. Sheikh Bassel Al-Sabah issued a decision concerning the formation of a committee tasked to draft the executive decree of law number 15/2019 on the amendment of the Health Insurance Law for foreigners stating fees for medical services.
In a press statement, the ministry affirmed the enforcement of Article Two of the above-mentioned law applies to foreigners coming to Kuwait temporarily and pointed out that the law aims at defining health insurance to cover their stay in Kuwait.
The National Assembly approved in early March 2019 the amendment of the law and referred it to the government.
