The Ministry of Health announced that it will provide the (Covid 19) vaccination for the age group between 5 and 11 years, starting this week, but the service begins, as a priority, for the segment of cases that carry risk factors and may result in severe symptoms in the event of infection with the virus.
The ministry said in a press statement, Sunday that the approval of the specialized technical committees for the (Covid 19) vaccine through the “Pfizer/Biotech” vaccine platform, for this age group was based on the results of studies and the approval of the competent international bodies and organizations.
The Ministry of Health stressed that it will spare no efforts in providing the service to those registered on the ministry platform with the aim of “protecting our children.”
