MoH employees and their relatives have to adhere to quarantine procedures

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued a decision to permit employees in the Ministry of Health (MoH) and their first-degree relatives, who are presently residing in other countries, to enter Kuwait by direct flights or via transit as long as they have valid residency and entry visas, Al Rai daily reported.

The DGCA spokesman, Saad Al-Otaibi, stated in a statement to Al-Rai that the decision was passed based on the instructions of the MoH, and he noted, “in the past, the MoH used to send lists of the names and numbers of MoH employees who are needed in the workforce, but after coordination with DGCA, a decision was taken to allow all employees to return immediately.

Clarifying the procedures, he stated that the MoH employee is only required to book a ticket and travel, and under this plan, has to follow the health procedures stipulated by the health authorities.

The spokesperson noted that the MoH in coordination with the DGCA and the Ministry of Interior is also authorizing the entry of relatives of MoH employees from all groups including their families of husband, wife and children, who have to adhere to quarantine procedures upon their arrival in the country.
