The Ministry of Health has condemned the attack on a female doctor at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, affirming its full support, and has vowed to take all measures to protect the rights of health practitioners in the face of such reprehensible and unacceptable behavior.
The Ministry has reiterated its keenness to preserve and protect all rights of health care providers, saying it is communicating with the doctor and is following the incident in minute detail to get first-hand information as to what happened and what provoked the incident, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The ministry is determined to take all necessary legal measures regarding this unfortunate incident, in accordance with the new Law No. 70 of 2020.
The Ministry has expressed its sincere appreciation for the efforts of the various health, technical and administrative employees, reiterating that it will spare no effort in providing a safe and appropriate work environment to perform their mission, as required.
