The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced the opening of the door for third dose of the Covid-19 for everyone 18 years and above.
Al-Sanad explained this dose will be given on priority basis and availability of the vaccine.
He also disclosed the recipient for the third dose qualifies after a passage of six months from the date of receiving the second dose and that it will be given to people who are at what he called ‘risking’.
The Al-Qabas daily quoting Dr Al-Sanad said the ministry is keen to provide the best means of protection against Covid-19 to ensure a safe and stable return to normal life, wishing everyone good health and safety.
The Ministry of Health launched the campaign to provide this revitalizing dose of the Covid-19 vaccine “the third dose” on September 26 this year.
Three groups of people have been shortlisted — including those over 60 years old, and among the most vulnerable groups, health workers” and those with immunodeficiency diseases.
