The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced on Sunday 696 patients of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) recovered during past 24 hours, raising tally of the recuperated to 117,558.
The MoH said in a statement that standard medical tests affirmed that these patients were certainly healed of the pandemic.
The coronavirus, now humankind’s preoccupation, first broke out in China late last year before spreading to multiple countries worldwide, taking more than one million lives and sickening many millions.
Currently, countries namely European states are scrambling to try coping with a second wave of the ferocious pandemic, with Britain and Austria, among others, enforcing a month-long lockdown to try stemming it.
