Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry closed down two labour offices recruiting household service workers in Hawalli following the failure of these agencies to comply with the set of recruitment fees specified by the Ministerial Resolution No. 33 of 2021. The violators were referred to the Commercial Control Team to face legal charges. Regular inspections in HSW recruitment agencies by respective governorates and ministerial bodies are ongoing, sources said.
