The Minister of Public Works followed the Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Amani Bukmaz, to begin work on the repair of roads and streets in different locations in Farwaniya and Jahra, where Bukmaz was at the head of the team that carries out maintenance work affiliated with the ministry in the mentioned locations, according to the plan followed by the MPW to repair internal streets in the regions.
According to Al-Jarida, the ministry is currently working gradually to repair the streets damaged by the rains, after developing plans and a comprehensive survey of damages in the areas. In addition, the road file, whether in the interior regions or highways, comes within the priorities of the minister, following up on all asphalt works that are carried out on streets, according to the specifications set by the ministry.
Moreover, the source pointed out that the ministry is awaiting the completion of the maintenance tenders, which is currently being expedited, before mobilizing the full maintenance work in all governorates on all damaged roads. The ministry has directed those in charge of the communication services to quickly respond and follow-up on complaints about the roads, as well as to address the complaints until the comprehensive maintenance of internal and external roads and streets begins.
