Finance Minister Manaf Al-Hajri has issued a decision to reduce the state fees collected on chalets by large percentages.
According to the ministerial decision, a copy of which has been obtained by Al-Qabas daily, the service fees for the chalet, which are mentioned in the list of allowances for usufruct of the state’s private real estate, should be replaced as follows:
■ 3 thousand dinars for the longitudinal meter of the waterfront in exchange for waiving the right to exploit a chalet / plot of land – first line, instead of 10 thousand in the previous decision.
■ 1.5 thousand dinars for the longitudinal meter of the front façade in exchange for waiving the right to exploit a chalet / plot of land – second line instead of 5 thousand in the previous decision.
■ 3 thousand dinars for longitudinal meter of the waterfront (first line) as an exit or entry fee for partners instead of 10 thousand dinars in the past.
■ 1.5 thousand dinars for the longitudinal meter of the front facade (second line) as an exit or entry fee for partners instead of five thousand in the previous decision
