She explained that the cost of 4 tenders increased significantly upon initiating the tendering and awarding procedures, compared to the recommendations of the technical committees in the ministry regarding the estimated values of the same tenders, and their total, according to the estimates of the technical committees, was 388 million dinars, but it jumped to 688 million dinars later.

The sources pointed out to higher government directives issued to the need to address any suspicion of corruption related to the tender procedures.

She stated that the estimated value of one of these tenders was 64 million dinars, and later jumped to 121 million dinars, while the value of the second tender, according to the estimates of the Technical Committee, was 80 million dinars, and rose to 188 million dinars after that, while the third tender was worth 76 million dinars. Then it rose later to 142 million dinars after submitting offers from companies.
