Minister of Works supports investment in waste recycling

The Minister of Works and the Minister of Electricity, Amani Boukamaz, affirmed the state’s support for various efforts aimed at investing in the field of waste management and recycling, stressing that environmental pollution is “a problem that most Arab countries suffer from.”

Bogmaz said this in her address to the Gulf Forum for Waste Management and Recycling, which is hosted by Kuwait under the title “Green Hydrogen and Energy Transition”, that the tremendous technological progress in various fields has led to an increase in waste rates and an increase in the problem of environmental pollution around the world, reports Al-Qabas daily.

She stressed that this calls for the need to work on developing the waste management system and raising awareness, highlighting the latest methods in managing waste, producing energy and recyclable materials, supporting the idea of community participation to preserve the environment, and encouraging investment in this field.
