His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, formed a committee to establish the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention with the aim of. preparing studies in this regard to face future health challenges.
The establishment of the center will help protect public health and safety, deal with crises, implement strategies to prevent and deal with diseases, conduct research, and provide health information that protects the country from health-related calamities, be they infectious epidemics or chronic non-communicable diseases.
The committee, which includes an elite group of specialists in various related fields, begins its work from the date of its formation, provided that it submits to the Minister an integrated plan complete with studies and recommendations.
