Minister of Social affairs and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Maryam Al-Aqeel announced on Sunday launching the application, “Kuwaitis without salaries” to aid citizens who could no longer be paid due to effect of the coronavirus crisis.
Minister Al-Aqeel said in a statement that the application had begun receiving information from this segment of nationals.
The minister has recently declared a government proposal to set up the electronic website to enable these citizens post information about their financial status, pending examination of each case to allocate compensations.
Applicants must not have another financial source.
