The Hawalli police referred a military colleague with the rank of corporal agent to the General Administration for Drug Control, after the officer was caught using narcotic substances while at work. The suspect was also caught in possession of a quantity of the substance, as well as several drug paraphernalia, an Arab daily reported.
The source revealed that the security officers of one of the outposts of Hawalli governorate suspected a colleague of theirs who recently showed signs of fatigue, exhaustion and absentmindedness. According to the witness, the soldier arrived at work while under the influence of drugs. The officers confronted the suspect and seized the narcotics and drugs in his possession. The Security Directorate was notified and ordered the suspect’s transfer and seizure to the General Administration for Drug Control.
