The Meteorological Department said Kuwait is under the influence of seasonal air depression in the upper atmosphere, which leads to the appearance of low and medium clouds accompanied by light drizzle in some areas during daytime Monday.
The weather forecast observer at the department, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, told KUNA the chance for rain will gradually increase in the late hours of the night with lighting accompanied by moderate to light thunderstorms, especially in coastal areas with increased wind velocity and sea waves rising to more than 7 feet which will continue until late evening Tuesday.
He stated the weather condition will gradually improve beginning Tuesday morning with northwesterly winds shifting in another direction. He said there is a chance for scattered clouds and formation of light fog at dawn Tuesday and Wednesday in some areas.
