MEPA launches the “Mental Health” conference

The Middle East Psychology Association (MEPA) is organizing its sixth annual conference and exhibition this year, starting from tomorrow till the 11th of March in Kuwait. This event will include the participation of more than 50 international experts in the field of mental health, led by the main speakers, President of the American Psychological Association (APA), Dr. Thema Bryant and founder and CEO of Luna Education Center, Dr. Ramani Durvasula.

The annual conference and exhibition aim to increase intellectual awareness and change mental health concepts in the Middle East, by means of sessions where scientific and practical experiences are exchanged by international specialized experts.

The head of MEPA Dr. Joanne Hands stated, “In this conference, we are working on changing the comprehensive cultural view of concepts and issues in mental health in the Middle Eastern societies, as it is the main pillar for the development of community health.”
