The Public Authority for Manpower has requested the Kuwait Municipality to provide it with a detailed statement of the locations of the mobile food carts are licensed to practice the activity.
Deputy Director General of National Employment by designation, Najat Al-Youssef, said, in a letter she addressed to the municipality regarding the periodic inspection of mobile vehicles that the Cabinet issued a decision to amend some provisions of its Resolution No. No. 391 of 2001 regarding the granting of social allowance and children’s allowance to owners of professions and trades and workers in non-governmental agencies, the second article of which stipulated that a new item should be added to Article (1) of the Cabinet’s decision No. (b) bis which reads (owners of mobile licenses for motorized vehicles equipped to practice commercial activities, reports Al-Qabas.
In this case, in addition to the general conditions mentioned in Article 5 of this decision, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Municipality submit periodic reports to the Public Authority for Manpower on the regularity of the beneficiaries of the provisions of this decision to work in the agencies they are licensed to, based on the inspections organized by those authorities daily.
Article 2 stipulates that a new clause shall be added to Article (1) of the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (B) bis, which reads owners of mobile licenses for motorized vehicles for commercial activities, and in this case, in addition to the general conditions mentioned in Article 5 of this decision, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Municipality submit periodic reports to the Public Authority for Manpower on the regularity of the beneficiaries of the provisions of this decision to work in the agencies they are licensed to, based on the inspections organized by those authorities.
Al-Youssef called for providing the authority with a detailed statement of the locations of the mobile vehicles licensed to practice the activity, and a copy of the previous periodic reports conducted by the municipality, which indicate the inspection of mobile vehicles, in implementation of the provisions of the Cabinet’s decision, so that the authority can take the necessary measures towards verifying the regularity of the beneficiaries.
One of its provisions is to work in the entities they are authorized to work and then to ensure the validity of disbursing support to those who are entitled to it, requesting that the authority be provided with these reports on a regular basis in implementation of the provisions of the decision.
