The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, has ordered the immediate referral of a reckless person to the Traffic Court.
A local Arabic daily said he was arrested after he drove his vehicle on two wheels and without plates, endangering his life and the lives of others.
The Public Relations and Traffic Awareness Department at the General Traffic Department, Major Abdullah Buhassan, said instructions were issued to the traffic department patrols for the man’s arrest after the incident went viral in the social media
The daily said the suspect was performing dangerous stunts. The suspect was immediately arrested and the vehicle has been impounded.
Buhassan added that Major General Al-Sayegh asked the Prosecution Department to prepare a memorandum to which the filming clip was attached and to refer it to the traffic court immediately.
