Main culprit in leaking exam papers case denies wrongdoing

The Court that was formed to look into the “exam papers leak” case, has decided to release an expatriate who was detained in one of the two cases of cheating and leaking high school exam papers on 500 dinars bail, while the court decided to continue the detention of a female citizen and 4 other defendants.

An informed source told Al-Rai that the main suspect in the case, has denied the charges against him, justifying that he owns a company and sells notes to students, but does not leak test papers or help students cheat.

The source added that the investigations opened in the case had revealed that nearly 40,000 students cheated after they had access to leaked exam papers.

It is noteworthy that this case, which was divided into two cases, will be the first of its kind to be considered by the courts, as the defendants face the disclosure of confidential information and money laundering.
