The Ministry of Communications said, Monday, that the Liberation Tower received more than 8,000 visitors during the celebrations of national holidays, including citizens, residents, diplomats, and tourists from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The Ministry said in a press statement on the occasion of the conclusion of the activities of the Liberation Tower, which started last Thursday and lasted for four days under the title ‘Glory and Pride’, crowds of citizens, residents and others attended the activities in the mornings and evenings, to take part in Kuwait’s joy during the national occasion, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The ministry stated that the activities included various programs in the Liberation Tower Square, organized by government institutions, public benefit associations, and cultural, environmental and historical volunteer youth teams. An exhibition was also held in the tower, at a height of 150 meters, for the historical holdings of the Ministry.
