His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God preserve and protect him, this afternoon performed the funeral prayer for his brother, the late Amir, May God rest his soul and make heaven his abode, in Bilal bin Rabah Mosque.
His Highness was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the sisterly State of Qatar, and the representative of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
In attendance was the Speaker of the National Assembly, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, senior officials in the state and a crowd of citizens.
