The last flight from London arrived shortly before the Civil Aviation’s circular took effect at 11 am today, placing the United Kingdom on the list of countries banned from entering the country directly, reports Al Qabas.
Several returnees were students and the elderly. According to the sources, all arrivals underwent a medical examination inside Kuwait International Airport, and swabs were taken, with mandating home quarantine for 14 days.
A source told the daily that dozens of citizens came on board the British Airways plane at 7 am, where they were subjected to all health procedures and a mandatory PCR test.
The source added that many citizens would not be able to come directly to Kuwait after the decision to place the United Kingdom on the list of prohibited countries.
