Ten Kuwaitis have reportedly been arrested by police in Cyprus for engaging in a street brawl with a group of British holidaymakers on Thursday night.
Eyewitnesses told local media in Ayla Napa, a resort town on the southeastern coast of Cyprus, where the incident took place that the fight began in the hotel complex before overflowing into the street and bringing nearby traffic to a standstill.
Two Britons suffered serious injuries and were admitted to the local hospital, one of them with stab wounds. Two Kuwaitis were also treated for minor bruises and scratches and were later released from the hospital. The Kuwaitis who fled the scene after the altercation have since been rounded up, said the police.
