Although personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department are still investigating the murder that took place day before yesterday in Hawalli region, a security source said a Kuwaiti has been taken into custody on suspicion.
Al-Rai quoting sources said the citizen was involved in a quarrel with two Egyptians – one of them a victim — and during the fight he stabbed one of the Egyptians and escaped.
During interrogation, the man is said to have admitted to killing the Egyptian and has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
