Alanoud Almutairi, a Kuwaiti businesswoman took interest in manufacturing and distributing in Kuwait popular and all-time favorite Filipino products. Almutairi’s personal interest and passion not only for business but Philippine delicacies inspired her to successfully distribute the products among popular supermarkets in the country.
“I loved the aroma and flavors of these products from the Philippines, and I took a personal interest in learning the know-how of sourcing, producing, and marketing them in Kuwait. The Tocino, Longganisa, Tapa and Embutido are Spain’s food legacies in the Philippines, localized and given Filipino twists of flavors” stated Almutairi. Production of these products started in the start of 2023 with Filipino friends according to Almutariri and since there were hardly any Kuwaiti competitors in the market and the first local national to manufacture these products, she took the initiative to try and market them and eventually took their places in local consumers’ market. “Our official logo brand now carries the flags of Kuwait ad Philippines to acknowledge the origin of these products and the current market where they are available” stated Almutairi.
These products are currently being sold in Monplex, Assima Mall, Kuwait City, Grand Hyper, Lulu Hyper, Ambassador Supermarket, Manila Hyper Market, Holiday Inn Market, India Gate in Farwaniya, Big C Supermarket and will be available in cooperative stores. Almutairi plans to develop more products and cooperate closely with companies duly approved in the Philippines among consumer products. “I would like to invite manufacturers and producers from the Philippines to contact us and work on the possibility of distributing new items in the market” added Almutairi.
At present plans to organize with Almutairi’s team, groups and family recreational trips by land and sea at reasonable prices to promote remarkable places in the country.
