The Ministry of Health (MoH) spokesperson, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that Kuwait’s accomplishment of vaccinating more than a million people against Covid-19 means that the country has come a long way, and is moving towards returning to normal life, which is what everyone is awaiting, Al Qabas reported.
Al-Sanad said, in a video on his Twitter account that vaccinating more than a million people does not mean the end of coronavirus fears, rather it means we have large sections of society who are now inoculated against the virus.
He added, “We have achieved a greater percentage of community immunity, and we aspire to reach a far greater percentage in the coming weeks and months.”
He pointed out that vaccinating the largest possible number of community groups means that we reduce the pressure on the health system, stressing that vaccinations are the best prevention to stem the Covid-19 spread.
