The Ministry of Commerce has given to go-ahead to establish floating seafood restaurants in Kuwait similar to the high-level tourism services offered by several countries around the world.
The floating restaurant and the related services are on the list of 10 more commercial activities approved by the minister.
The Al-Rai daily quoting the minister said these activities will be monitored by the Coast Guard and the Ministry of Finance.
The other activities included in Resolution No. 164 of 2021 include swimming pools, retailing foodstuffs, poultry products, birds and ornamental birds, managing and operating hotels, architectural consultancy and managing gas stations.
