Kuwait spends KD 1.1 billion on health in 8 months 

The efforts of the Ministry of Health continue to confront the outbreak of the Corona virus in the country and is said to have spent 1.1 billion dinars on hospital services since the beginning of the year.

Al-Anba has learnt this includes contracts for vaccines of all kinds, along with the rest of the needs of the government health sector.

The country’s spending on the Ministry of Health was 1.1 billion dinars in 8 months from the first of last April until the end of last November which constituted about 39.8% of the total expenditures approved for spending on this aspect for the whole year, estimated at 2.7 billion dinars.

The average government spending on hospital services to cover all the health needs of citizens and residents was about one billion dinars, accounting for the largest share of the volume of spending on products, devices and medical equipment reached about 38 million dinars
