At least 1,661 people have been infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19) over the past 24 hours, taking overall infections to 339,032, Spokesman for the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said Sunday.
The number of those recovered from the virus pandemic in the same period hit 1,466, increasing total recoveries to 319,885.
The death toll from the disease rose to 1,870 after registering 8 mortalities in the corresponding period.
