Health Ministry Spokesman Dr Abdullah Al-Sanad announced Thursday that 1,379 new coronavirus infections, 1,234 recoveries and four deaths were recorded over the past 24 hours. Total infections rose to 242,848 and the death toll to 1,383, he said, adding total recoveries climbed to 227,260.
