Kuwait registers 2 deaths, 1,390 new COVID-19 cases

Kuwait on Thursday reported 1,390 new coronavirus infections, over past 24 hours, raising the caseload to 224,432.

In remarks to KUNA, the health ministryآ’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said two people died due to the virus infection, during the last 24 hours, to take the death toll to 1,258.

Recovery of these cases were confirmed after conducting standard medical measures and taking the required steps or such conditions, he said, noting that the cured proportion from the tally of infections reached 93 percent.

Number of the patients receiving treatment at intensive care units reached 247, thus the whole count of the infected cases and continued to receive care amounted to 14,403. The spokesman also noted that up to 10,802 virus tests were conducted during the last hours, affirming that the total PCR tests reached 2.005,458.
