Kuwait reported 1,379 new coronavirus cases and ten deaths on Saturday, raising the total number of cases to 245,704 and deaths to 1,403.
In a statement to KUNA, the Ministry of Health’s official spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al- Sanad said 1,219 people recovered from the virus, raising the total number of recoveries to 229,846. He noted that recovery rate out of infections is 93.55 percent.
Patients currently in ICUs is 226, raising the total number of patients still receiving medical care to 14,455.
Meanwhile, swab tests taken in the past 24 hours were counted at 9,169, raising the total number of the examinations for the virus to 2.151,495. Infection rate out of swabs in the past 24 hours is 15.04.
