Kuwait parliament passes recommendations to lessen health restrictions

The National Assembly (parliament)

The National Assembly (parliament) approved Wednesday a number of recommendations regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) travel restrictions and health guidelines in general

The first recommendation includes the immediate lifting of travel restrictions on unvaccinated people, allowing them to travel to the countries which would not mind receiving the unvaccinated

The second recommendation urges recognizing those who have already got two COVID-19 shots as “being completely vaccinated”, while the third calls for equally treating vaccinated and unvaccinated children.Under the fourth recommendation, Kuwaiti citizens arriving back should only make a single PCR test upon arrival, relieving them of tests ahead of home-return

Furthermore, a neutral social, legal, educational, and economic monitoring committee should be set up in order to look into complaints from citizens who have been affected by COVID-19 vaccines.
