Kuwait’s National Assembly began on Tuesday the grilling of Finance Minister Barrak AlSheatan, submitted by lawmaker Reyad AlAdsani.
The lawmaker had submitted the grilling request of three articles on June 30, parliament speaker Marzouq AlGhanim told lawmakers ahead of the session.
These include “financial statements and the 2020 economic document, the Public Institution for Social Security and interest based replacements and financial issues and misleading public opinion.”
The National Assembly had completed an earlier grilling of the finance minister by the same lawmaker on June 16, without putting forward any recommendations or requests.
