Kuwait MoH opens door for private sector’s medical workers to volunteer

Kuwait Ministry of Health said Thursday it opened the door for doctors and nurses working in the private sector to volunteer, on April 12, to contribute to the government’s efforts to confront the spread of coronavirus.

Due to ramifications of coronavirus and collaboration of public and private sectors in confronting this pandemic, the MoH opens door for doctors and nursing staff working in the private sector to volunteer to work in MoH’s facilities, a ministry statement said.

Doctors can apply at the office of Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, while the nurses can apply at the office of the Assistant Undersecretary for medical services.

The door will be open for doctors and nurses for three days starting Sunday, April 12, explained the ministry.

Every volunteer should provide a copy of practicing license, the civil ID and a letter of approval of the company he or she works in, said the ministry.
